What is Snorlax Strength in Pokemon Sleep?
Increases Pokemon You Can Find
If you want to find more kinds of Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep, you'll want to increase your Snorlax's Strength. Snorlax Strength is classified into different ratings, starting from Basic 1 to Master 20. Your Snorlax rating affects the number of Pokemon species and Sleep Styles that can appear after a sleep session.
Each research area will have different Snorlax Strength requirements for each rating and unlock a different amount of Sleep Styles.
On Greengrass Isle, a Basic 1 rating allows you to find 20 Sleep Styles. This means that the three Pokemon that appear after a Sleep Session while you're in the Basic 1 rating will only be drawn from a fixed pool of 20 Pokemon Sleep Styles.
This amount will increase until you reach the maximum rating of Master 20, where all available Sleep Styles of Pokemon in a particular research area will be available.

Affects Drowsy Power
Drowsy Power is computed by multiplying Snorlax Strength to your Sleep Score. The higher your Drowsy Power, the more Pokemon will appear after your sleep session. Higher Drowsy Power can also make rarer Pokemon appear.
Drowsy Power Explained
Resets Every Monday
You can only stay with a Snorlax for a week. Every Monday, you will say goodbye to the previous week's Snorlax and start fresh with the new week's Snorlax.
However, you do get a nice 5% bonus growth to your Snorlax Strength whenever you return to a research area that you've already been to. This bonus adds up, so you can get a 10% bonus if you stay in one area for three weeks.
There is a chance for the Snorlax you have for the week to be Shiny. The odds of this happening is currently unknown, and you will still have to say goodbye to Snorlax at the end of the week even if it is Shiny.

How to Increase Snorlax Strength in Pokemon Sleep
Feed Snorlax Berries
Each Pokemon you befriend can gather a particular Berry. If you tap on the Berries that your Pokemon have gathered, they will go to Snorlax's Berry box. Snorlax will then begin to munch on them.
You'll know if your Pokemon out in the field have Berries or ingredients to give you if they have a magnifying glass icon on top of their head. If they've reached the maximum amount of Berries they can hold, your Pokemon will feed Snorlax directly. This means your Snorlax can gain Strength even if you're not using the app!

Favorite Berries Give Twice as Much Strength!
Every week, you will meet a new Snorlax on your Pokemon Sleep island. Each will have their own favorite Berries. The Snorlax won't mind if you give it other Berries, but you'll get more Strength if you do manage to give Snorlax its favorites.
Try to choose Pokemon that gather one of your current Snorlax's favorite Berries to have in your Helper Team. You can choose five Pokemon to help collect Berries and ingredients. You can change the Pokemon you want to have out by selecting the Pokemon option on the lower left corner of the app, then Edit Teams.
How to Get More Berries
Favorite Berries per Research Area
Research Area | Favorite Berries |
---|---|
Greengrass Isle | Random |
Cyan Beach | Pamtre Berry Oran Berry Pecha Berry |
Taupe Hollow | Leppa Berry Figy Berry Sitrus Berry |
Snowdrop Tundra | Rawst Berry Persim Berry Wiki Berry |
Lapis Lakeside | Durin Berry Mago Berry Cheri Berry |
Snorlax's favorite Berries are fixed in every research area except for Greengrass Isle. This makes it easier to build a Pokemon team for each island.

Cook Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Pokemon Sleep can not only help you fix your sleep schedule; it can help you with your meal schedule as well. Snorlax can gain more Strength by eating a dish compared to snacking on Berries.
You can cook dishes for Snorlax three times a day at the designated meal hours. The ingredients collected by your Pokemon will be used to cook these dishes. If you use a lot of ingredients and make a meal with a recipe, the Strength of the dish will be higher.
A meal also has a random chance to be Extra Tasty, which will increase the base Strength of your meal.

Use Pokemon with Charge Strength Skill
Some Pokemon, like the Pikachu you first obtain in the game, have the Main Skill called Charge Strength. As long as one of your Helper Pokemon out on the field has this skill, it has a chance to randomly activate as you play Pokemon Sleep.
When it activates, your Snorlax will receive additional Strength depending on the level of the skill. The area bonus you have for a reasearch area can also affect this.
