Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay denies nose job rumors (2024)

Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shayaddressed ongoing rumors that she got a rhinoplastyduring an episode of her podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay.

After confirming that she recentlygot Botox, the39-year-old reality star went on to deny going under the knife to change the shape and size of her nose, despite years of speculation from fans.

'Despite popular opinion, I’ve legitimately have not had a nose job, but I really see why everyone thinks that I have,' the mother-of-one said.

She continued: 'When I see a photo of me from [Vanderpump Rules] season 1, specifically from the right side, and then I see a photo of me from season 11 — with perfect glam — from the left side, my face legit does look different on both sides.'

As for why she nearly always poses from the left side, the TV personality, who is married toBrock Davies, explained that she simply prefers that angle of her face.

'I know my angles,'Shay told listeners. 'But I totally get it. If I see a side-by-side of a before and after, I’m like, "Damn, it does look like I’ve had work done."'

She noted that if she had work done she would've 'probably got a really good deal on it' or traded the price of the procedure for a post on her social media channels.

'I would’ve posted about it. So, no. Anything I get done in the future, if I do, you will see it,'Shay declared.

Last year, Shay revealed 'the casting directors for 90210 are some of the reasons why' she 'ended up getting Botox.'

'They told me that, for Disney, my facial expression was great. But for a more dramatic type of role, I needed to learn how to control my eyebrows,' the formerSUR waitress recalled on her podcast.

While speaking of her eyebrows, she joked: 'this one has a mind of its own, and this one would squint.'

On otheraudition,Shay remembered struggling to land parts due to her facial expressions.

'They were like, "The role is yours, here's your callback. The role is yours, we want you for this, but we're bringing in a couple other girls as well because if you can't control your facial features then we're not going to give it to you,"' the performer stated.

Shay revealed she was advised to 'maybe try some Botox' and 'started getting' the injections when she was around 24 or 45 to get rid of her 'resting b**ch face.'

In October 2021, while appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Shay squashed social media chatter about whether she had 'work done.'

'I have no Botox! That's what's different! My face is moving,' she told host, Andy Cohen.

After Cohen pressed asking if there was really nothing else, even fillerse, Shay said 'no' and that she was 'breastfeeding full-time' and 'natural.'

'I promise,' she told Cohen and the cameras.

Shay previously confessed that she struggled not being able to get Botox during the COVID-19 pandemic.

'I hated it, At the beginning of the pandemic, that was the first time that I didn't have Botox. Because everywhere was closed, obviously. So, I got a little taste of my face moving then for the first time in almost a decade,' the star said on the Breaking Beauty podcast in 2023.

She added: 'I honestly got so used to it that I only got it again once I decided I was done breastfeeding.'

'But the first time I went, because it had been so long, all of the muscles in my face ... I needed twice as much,' she mused.

In 2016, the West Covina native explained she gets Botox'every two and a half to three months' because she 'can’t stand having forehead wrinkles on camera.'

'It drives me insane. I’ve had Botox since before season one. So people are like, "Oh my gosh, she’s gotten so much work done." I’ve had this literally since I was 25 years old. Consistently, because I don’t like my face to move — only when I smile,' she told People.
