I’m just going to come out and say it… DON’T start a podcast unless it looks & sounds nearly perfect. 🙅♂️99% of people who tell you otherwise are just trying to sell you something. Hear me out. If I am a potential client considering whether or not I want to work with you..And I go to your podcast to see what you’re really made of (which MANY prospective clients will do).. And I see a podcast with bad audio, little-to-no editing, poor visual elements, etc…What am I going to deduce about your business as a whole? My initial thought would be - if this is how they run their podcast, how do they run their business? Or if I am a guest on your podcast and am considering purchasing from you or going into business with you in some way..Or even recommending you as a guest to another podcast, or inviting you onto my podcast.. I will much less likely to do any of that if your show feels like it’s built on toothpicks. Your podcast should add to your credibility, authority, & expertise. 🙌This doesn’t mean you need a $10,000 setup… It just means you need to put something out that’s clean and professional. If you’re podcasting for business, then pay someone with expertise to produce the thing. Definitely don’t do it yourself - your attention is needed in more important places so that you can grow your business and 10x your life. Most of the time people just don’t put in the effort to make their show A+. Potential clients will feel that.

My Crippling Fear Of Flying Was The Best Thing To Ever Happen To Me. 🤧At 20 years old I thought that getting on a plane was impossible. And as a result.. many other things seemed impossible too. I believed that I could never be successful in the music industry…I believed that I could never become wealthy or build a successful business…I believed that I could NEVER have a relationship where I could be 100% myself… My whole world SHRANK because of this fear. 😖Questioning the possibilities of these other things meant questioning the fear of flying. And questioning the fear would lead to conquering it. And conquering it was the scariest thing imaginable. I eventually got on the plane and flew to Italy to meet my fiancé’s family. I was more afraid of losing her than I was of flying. So I got on the damn plane. I honestly have no idea how I did it. I don’t remember. I blacked out. I couldn’t feel my legs. It was epic. When we landed in Italy and I got off the plane.. It was like taking off the horse-blinders and finally seeing with 100% vision after being at 20% my entire life. I had officially given myself permission to see the world as being full of possibility. I find it to be no coincidence that only 2 years later I am healthier, happier, and richer than I have ever been. From the ages of 0-13 I took over 100 flights. From the ages of 13-22 I took 0 flights. From the ages of 23-24 I’ve taken 30 flights. What’s the fear that’s holding you back? 🙈
