"If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got." - H. Ford Recently on a beautiful day, my doors were open and the birds were singing. I saw my mailman approaching and heard him listening to something. "...time to reclaim the life that's yours." I recognized the voice of Bob Proctor. It stopped my mind. He is a creator. I am telling this story to say this: We didn't come here to play small. No one did. Not me, not you, not him. It doesn't matter what your circ*mstances are now, the world needs you to play big. My mailman already knows this so he's creating a life around what matters:💡 What you think about. 💡 What you're learning. 💡 Who you're becoming. You can't create a bigger life without changing your mind, or more specifically changing the program your mind runs. That can feel like manual labor, and in many ways, it is. You're going to write over neural pathways formed from a lifetime of experiences, or more accurately, your view of your experiences: your thoughts. If you don't like your program, write a new one. Here are 3 powerful ways to start.🚦 WAKE UP IN YOUR 100% ZONE The first 5 minutes of your day are the most fertile time for programming your mind. Before you even open your eyes, you're in what I call the "100% zone," or the state of being fully open and present. No programs have run yet so you have unparalled access to your brain to program your unconscious mind with new beliefs and thoughts. Think new thoughts so your old thoughts don't think for you: "I am so excited to experience connection, fulfillment and strength ." "I am grateful for all the support I will give and receive." "I can't wait to find new ways to help others." "I love my life." 🚦 STARVE YOUR PHONE IMPULSE To become a master of your thoughts, be aware of your weakness - such as your relationship with your phone. Reviews.org says Americans check their phones an average of144 times a day, spending nearly 5 hours a day looking at our screens. Experiment looking at it only 1 out of every two times you have the impulse. If you succeed only half the time, that still statistically saves about 13,000 checks/year and 1.25 hours a day. That's giving yourself back 19 days a year of time to focus your mind and create a life that matters. With that time for creating, where will you be next year?🚦 RETURN TO THE PRESENT You can't think and be present at the same time - pick one. When you make being present a priority, things will begin to shift. Breathing in frequently pulls you back into your body, and you're able to pause, look, and listen, activating the Dorsal Attention Network of the brain. You will feel more receptive, get ideas, feel happier, and continue to make different choices from this place based on what is important to you. You're a creator. In the present, anything is possible. What does an inspiring life look like for you?♻ repost if you agree➡ follow me for more

Congratulations to the EcoMesa team, who won the NAIOP award for Sustainable Project of the Year in 2024.Thomas McPherson, the Habitat Metro team, Tim Sprague and John Hill, as well as their GC, Willmeng Construction, Inc., the City of Mesa and I’m sure many others - your commitment to making a difference in the world for the better is inspiring… especially for young minds. As my kids and I walked through EcoMesa - a building that arose from a vision for a green development Thomas had many years ago - we felt pride and joy. They watched as their father pointed out solar panels and other features that make the sustainable building unique in Arizona. I saw him through their eyes as their hero/dad showed what it is to create things that matter in making the world a better place. It was quite a moment - and a long time coming!Congratulations to Thomas and the whole team! We are proud and inspired. Dreams do come true.#sustainability#climatechange#family#sustainabledevelopment#phoenix#arizona#teamwork#cityofmesa#innovation
